Services — Transportation

In addition to having adapted transportation facilities (persons with reduced mobility are accepted), the Argenteuil MRC has a community transportation service via taxibus (450-562-5797). The taxibus offers public transportation at a modest price, carrying passengers from one stop point to another in the following municipalities:

• Brownsburg-Chatham
• Gore
• Grenville
• Lachute
• Saint-André-d'Argenteuil

There are also the Deux-Montagne and Blainville suburban trains, with a new line to be added soon (November 2006) for St-Jérôme. For those who need to travel to larger nearby cities such as Montreal or Ottawa, a Greyhound bus service is available twice a day, seven days a week.
